IQAS to Provide International Credential Assessments
Expanding Assessments Beyond Certification
01, Sep, 2015
As of August 6, 2015, Alberta's International Qualifications Assessment Service (IQAS) will be providing international credential assessments for immigration purposes. An agreement with Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) provides IQAS with the designation to deliver this new assessment service. These assessments are an integral component of the Federal Skilled Worker Immigration program.
Until now, IQAS assessed the credentials of individuals to support their applications for
employment, professional licensing and further education. Providing educational
credential assessments for immigration purposes will help potential immigrants and their
families start a successful new life in our province.
